I heard about places you can go and everyone (even people we don’t know) gather around the campfire at night and socialize. During the day you can sign up for different activities such as biking, hiking, etc. We are in Northern Ca. Do you know of a place like this around here or how would I Google this type of camping trip?

this shows you all of the camping site in North ca pick a spot and see if you like it
and open camp fire, smores, and bug spray are a must! because its not camping without any of those
I agree with the last answer…definitely take along bug spray and ingredients for s’mores. Let everyone roast his/her own marshmallow.
Also, take along a bar of biodegradable soap and you can bathe, wash dishes, etc. with little or no harm to the enviro.
