Outdoor campers looking for wide open spaces.

Even though wide open spaces are definitely a draw for outdoor campers, we still have a need to have something to do,  ’something different from our everyday lives, yes!’  but activity and variety just the same.

If you are camping as a family that includes children, you will be rewarded when you find the perfect place to teach them how to light a campfire and to also teach them to cook over the open campfire they have just helped you build.  How exciting for you all to catch fish and cook it for supper  Try an ‘old-fashioned’ way of reconnecting as a family while hiking up trails, (in place of sitting in front of the T.V.).

Where can you find this wonderland?  There are many diverse areas from which to choose, but perhaps one of the most diverse areas of the United States is the region containing Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, and South Dakota,

Here you will find the widest range of parks, rodeos, skiing holidays, adventure holidays, and river rafting adventures etc. There is more to see, do and get involved in, here than possibly any other part of the United States.

Mount Rushmore, (have you seen it?), well it’s situated here for your wonder and enjoyment.  Just imagine how many other people must have seen this monument - along with the famous Little Big Horn battle ground.  The Crazy Horse Memorial is nearby.

Did you know that there is a falls higher than the more famous Niagara Falls? Or a canyon deeper than the Grand Canyon?  Surprisingly both can be found here.

There’s so much to offer here, the chance to be at one with nature and see the natural wonders of the world. However, it’s not all camping trips and trekking here.  You can find five star resorts with gourmet meals if you want to celebrate a special occasion or to cater to the non-campers in your group.

So if it’s wide open spaces with big skies that you are looking for - this is the place.  But, be forewarned, once having experienced this magnificent place, you may not want to leave!
